Marcus Ricciani
Marcus has built his strategic advisory and investment career through trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. Most recently, Marcus served as Chief Development Officer of Veterinary Practice Partners where he focused on creating value through new partnerships with veterinary practice owners. Through 69 new partnerships across 90 hospitals, Marcus developed a consistent track record of improving practice profitability by executing hospital-specific strategies focused on key business pressure points and opportunities.
Key tenets of Marcus’ philosophy on the success of veterinary practice partnerships are that veterinarians should retain ownership in their practices, and he believes an entire team contributes to the success of a hospital. In creating and executing a value creation plan for veterinarian owners, a partnership should be a win-win-win for the veterinarian owner, the staff and PreSale Growth Partners.
Prior to focusing on the veterinary sector, Marcus spent 20+ years advising human health care services clients on organic and acquisition-driven growth strategies. When not focused on animal hospitals, Marcus spends time with his wife and three daughters and is likely coordinating hockey games, gymnastics meets and soccer games. Marcus resides in New Jersey, is a private pilot, and holds an MBA from Indiana University and a BBA from Stetson University.
