Marcus Ricciani
Founder / CEO
Marcus has built his strategic advisory and investment career through trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. Marcus has over 20 years of investment banking experience supporting health care services clients in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as well as capital raising needs in the equity and debt markets to support these strategies. After entering the veterinary sector, Marcus served as Chief Development Officer of Veterinary Practice Partners where he focused on value creation strategies and led the development of 69 partnerships across 90 animal hospitals.
Key tenets of Marcus’ philosophy on the success of animal hospital partnerships are that veterinarians should retain ownership in their practices, and he believes an entire team contributes to the success of a hospital. In creating and executing a value creation plan for veterinarian owners, a partnership should be a win-win-win for the veterinarian owner, the staff and PreSale Growth Partners.
When not focused on animal hospitals, Marcus spends time with his wife and three daughters and is likely coordinating hockey games, gymnastics meets and soccer games. Marcus resides in New Jersey, is a private pilot, and holds an MBA from Indiana University and a BBA from Stetson University.
